At Hart we strive to help our customers maintain their heating equipment so that it’s ready to take on the cold months. Once the winter has begun we switch from being proactive to being reactive – meaning if you’re in need of any assistance, help is available and we’ll be here for you along the way!

Third Party Notification Services

In New York State, all heating oil customers have the option of designating an alternate contact in the event that we can’t reach them. In such cases, the third party would be notified before a service termination takes place. This service can also help avoid late payment charges.

LIHEAP and Other Assistance Programs

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program aimed at helping homeowners struggling to keep up with the cost of fuel deliveries and equipment maintenance. Through this program, qualified households receive grants to alleviate the financial burden of staying warm. In addition to LIHEAP, other programs are also available.
